Here’s a very cool opportunity for all of you lucky enough to be attending this year’s Sitges Film Festival (our own Arrow will be there, as always). The crew behind the fest is giving you the chance to participate in a documentary about the festival. Read on for the details, straight from the press release.
Create a documentary all together. That’s the project proposed by Fandom Sitges for the SITGES 2010 – 43rd International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia. To participate in this collaborative project, you have to send one or more videos with a maximum runtime of one minute to www.fandomsitges.com. All different kinds of footage containing the Festival as the protagonist will be accepted: everyday adventures for Sitges, the atmosphere while waiting in line, the nightlife or opinions of the movies screened here.
The goal is to capture Sitges’ atmosphere and make a report all together. The videos can be sent in from OCTOBER 7 – 24. The footage may be shot using a cellphone or video camera. You can send in as many pieces as you want, but each piece must have a runtime of not more than one minute and can’t be larger than 200 MB.
The author of the most original, funniest or most interesting video will win a VIP Seat for next year’s International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia and the names of all participants will appear in the film’s credits.
