It’s always a pleasure to see cutie Shannyn Sossamon pop up in a flick (save for CATACOMBS), and that she does in a new Canadian thriller called THE DAY, from director Douglas Aarniokoski. Dominic Monaghan, Ashley Bell, Shawn Ashmore and Cory Hardrict also star in the film, as evidenced in the new character posters that have just been tacked up. There’s six in total…give ‘em a look below!
Written by Luke Passmore, THE DAY is an apocalyptic siege warfare film spanning 24 hrs during which a small group of survivors are pit against insurmountable odds.
Hopefully those insurmountable odds include squaring off with some f*cked up assailants… be it monsters of some kind or, a la THE ROAD, desperate cannibals. Who’s with me?
