Sundance eat your heart out. The Slamdance Film Festival is quickly making it’s name for itself. Past festivals have been host to a number of films, including a slew of genre flicks, and this year is no different!
The lineup and dates have recently been announced for this year’s festival. It’ll be running January 15th to January 23rd in Park City, Utah. You can get some ticket information over at the festival’s official site.
Slamdance will play host to a mess of genre films, opening with I SELL THE DEAD. Also at the fest will be ROSENCRANTZ & GUILDENSTERN ARE UNDEAD – THE CONJURER – MUM AND DAD – ZOMBIE GIRL – and a documentary on ‘violence porn’ called GRAPHIC SEXUAL HORROR. That documentary actually sounds scarier than most horror movies. Some other awesome Slamdance news, although totally unrelated to the genre, would be the fact that Broken Lizard’s newest comedy THE SLAMMIN’ SALMON will also be showing. Awesome.
