Horror flick is all up here (points to brain); I just have to put it down here (pretends to type)… it’s kind of coming down to me wanting to do this comedy and me wanting to do this horror flick. And I feel like I should do the horror flick… The guy’s a flippin’ movie fan to the bone, and I’d love to see his take on something horror. Yep, in the end if may prove the man can only really do comedy, but damnit- I want to see him try!
Of course, another reason to see him try is that he’ll write something original, and we haven’t seen one of those flicks in a while, and it’d be a nice change of pace- plus, it’d probably end up being something smart and self-aware, like SCREAM. And if done right, it could be lots of fun.
If you check out the rest of the interview, you’ll see the guy’s got a lot on his plate, so who knows if he’ll ever get a chance to put the damn thing down on paper- let’s just keep our fingers crossed!
