Snoop Dogg is returning to the horror interests he showed us all he had with BONES. He’s executive producing HOOD OF HORROR and Variety reports that Arclight Films will rep the worldwide rights. It will bow (wow) at no less than the Cannes Film Festival. Probably the less said on that issue the better.
Currently in production the film stars Ernie Hudson, Danny Trejo, Method Man, Jason Alexander and Billy Dee Williams along with Snoop, and follows three terrifying inner-city tales of people whose actions in this life determine their fate in the next. It will also feature anime sequences, which sounds kinda cool.
For those of you who think this sounds an awful lot like TALES FROM THE HOOD, well, you’re right. But it’s Snoop Dogg dammit. Sampling is the name of the game.
