We got a heads up over the weekend that Jordan Road Films picked up the rights to a new script by Rock Shaink Jr. entitled
Tell me if this sounds familiar: a group of aspiring actors are cast in a hot new horror film, only to find out that it is actually a snuff film. Ok, so maybe not the most original story out there, but it has potential. Shaink is making his directorial debut with the flick, and it could prove to noteworthy, especially with a fresh cast and a unique look.
SNUFFED is currently in the early, early stages of pre-production, with a tentative release date scheduled for October 30, 2008. I’m guessing it’s going STD, but as that’s a Wednesday, maybe it’s aspiring for a theatrical release. I guess we’ll just hold tight and see. Stick around for more on SNUFFED as we hear it!
