Well folks Rob Zombie is at it again. Not sure who’s more into the whole ‘behind the scenes on social media’ thing, Zombie or Milla Jovovich. Mind you we’re not complaining… Sure the constant updates are a little tedious but it’s nice to see Zombie keeping his fans up to date, and little updates like today’s tend to keep people interested in a project through it’s production. Touche Mr. Zombie.
Anyway onward to today’s update! Now it’s nothing worth writing home about but Zombie has once again updated his Facebook pages with two new behind the scenes shots from the LORDS OF SALEM set. First up, above you’ll find a nifty little street sign that points you in the direction of the Salem Wax Museum and Salem Witch Village. Need I speculate the fun that is sure to follow that sign?
And below you’ll find a shot from the church used in LORDS OF SALEM. I’d say it’s pretty normal looking but I suppose there’s a slight eery feel to it. What says you guys?
Heidi, a blonde rock chick, DJs at a local radio station, and together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster) forms part of the “Big H Radio Team”.
A mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, “a gift from the Lords”. She assumes it’s a rock band on a mission to spread their word. As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords’ record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma.
Later Whitey plays the Lords’ record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with listeners.
The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H Team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon Heidi and her cohorts find that the gig is far from the rock spectacle they’re expecting: the original Lords of Salem are returning, and they’re out for BLOOD.
LORDS OF SALEM sports a cast of Zombie regulars as well as some newbies including Patricia Quinn, Sid Haig, Judy Geesonn, Bruce Davidson, Christopher Knight, Ken Foree, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, John Five, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso, Dee Wallace, Sheri Moon Zombie (below), Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Barbara Crampton and Jeff Daniel Phillips.
Now this shite is still filming in Salem, Massachusetts so I’m sure we can expect a lot more updates from Mr. Zombie in the near future.
