Early last month we gave you all a nice hefty update on THE COLLECTION, the sequel to Marcus Dunstan’s THE COLLECTOR. You guys remember that? Of course you do! The first film was actually pretty solid and this sequel is looking halfway decent thus far. So it’s with that in mind that I come here on this slow news day to show you all the latest goods from THE COLLECTION!
Actually it’s the latest ‘good’ from the film and let’s face it, it’s nothing to write home about. You see FX pro Gary J Tunnicliffe just slapped up an early teaser poster for THE COLLECTION over on his Facebook page. Actually I don’t even want to call this thing a poster… It’s the first film’s one-sheet with some Photoshopped text slapped on. But hey, beggers can’t be choosers right? Scope out the new art directly above!
Arkin escapes with his life from the vicious grips of “The Collector” during an entrapment party where he adds beautiful Elena to his “Collection.” Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena’s wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector’s booby trapped hide out and save Elena from his sadistic rituals. “The Collection” is a perfect cocktail of primal horror and action suspense thriller in real 3D.
Marcus Dunstan is once again stepping back behind the camera for THE COLLECTION with Josh Stewart returning as ‘Arkin.’ THE COLLECTION should be filming as we speak so be sure to keep it here for anything and everything we hear on the project.
