Son of Romero debuts

Mike Watt spoke with Fangoria earlier today regarding his screenplay for 24 FRAMES. Specifically, who would be directing the film. To everyone’s surprise, it was Romero. But not George.

G. Cameron Romero, son of the legendary George A. Romero, will make his directorial debut on the film. Not much has been revealed about the plot, and both Romero and Watt want to keep it secret for now. Romero did say that the film itself was going to be “just…brutal!”

Filming begins in November, and already, Romero (who will also produce 24 FRAMES with Christofer J. Lombardo) has cut a short teaser that invites viewers to “the last movie you will ever see.” Cool!
