Of all the films I wish Arrow would review, the one that sticks out in my mind would be TREMORS. True, the sequels got successively cheesy as they went along (let’s not get started on the TV series with Christopher Lloyd…), but the original is just good fun, and kicks EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS to the curb.
For their upcoming fourth Now Playing series of figures, SOTA Toys has revealed a Tremors Box Set, which features survivalist Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) ready to unload buckshot into a graboid a la Dick Cheney. All I can say is that where’s Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward, dammit. Ah well, retailing for $34.99, the Tremors Box Set is slated to arrive 4th quarter 2006.
The rest of the Now Playing series 4 has that insult to Irish everywhere, the leprechaun from LEPRECHAUN, Jigsaw’s puppet from SAW (not to be confused with Sideshow’s beauty), one of the ghosts from the remake of THE FOG and a rumoured super deluxe PUMPKINHEAD figure (because one just wasn’t enough).
