I’m pretty sure that if he put his mind to it, Kevin Spacey could probably play a wonderfully convincing Wonder Woman in the JLA movie. Screw Jessica Biel. The guy’s a f*cking chameleon. It seems though, that he’s going the other way, and starring in a TV movie called RECOUNT, about the contested 2000 Presidential election. The political drama, set to start shooting next month, will trace the story behind the acrimonious ballot recounts in Florida at the end of the 2000 race between Democrat Gore and then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush, a Republican. Somewhere Michael Moore is gonna be overjoyed or have a hemorrhage. Although this is a made-for-TV movie, the thing packs a punch, as Spacey joins Laura Dern (JURASSIC PARK), Tom Wilkinson (ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND) and Dennis Leary (RESCUE ME) in the cast. We’ll next see Spacey working his magic in the unfortunate looking FRED CLAUS.
