Spanish thriller Kidnapped scores itself a theatrical release this June

The last we heard anything on Miguel Ángel Vivas’ KIDNAPPED came back in February, when Alex gave us all a look at a new domestic poster for the Spanish thriller. February was a pretty long time ago folks. So what’s the deal?

Well apparently IFC Films have been busy because they’ve gone ahead and tapped KIDNAPPED with a June 15th release date! So what sort of release will this little diddy be getting? A limited theatrical one, that’s what! Pretty impressive for a Spanish home invasion thriller no?

Jaime, Marta and their daughter Isa have just moved into a luxurious new house. Marta begins to prepare the dinner and puts a bottle of champagne on ice to celebrate the move. As night falls, three hooded men violently force their way into the house. Panic ensues and soon the real violence will begin.
