As the world continues to fight against acts of racism and police brutality in the United States after the murder of George Floyd, Spike Lee has debuted a new and powerful poster for his upcoming Netflix feature DA 5 BLOODS.
The poster, which includes the rallying cry "Our fight is not in Vietnam," replaces a soldier's neck and head with that of a raised fist. Clenched in a gesture of unity, the fist dons a helmet with the number one emblazed across its center.

From Academy Award Winner Spike Lee comes a New Joint: the story of four African-American Vets — Paul (Delroy Lindo), Otis (Clarke Peters), Eddie (Norm Lewis), and Melvin (Isiah Whitlock, Jr.) — who return to Vietnam. Searching for the remains of their fallen Squad Leader (Chadwick Boseman) and the promise of buried treasure, our heroes, joined by Paul's concerned son (Jonathan Majors), battle forces of Man and Nature — while confronted by the lasting ravages of The Immorality of The Vietnam War.
Joining the aforementioned actors for DA 5 BLOODS are actors Jean Reno (RONIN, WASABI), Paul Walter Hauser (LATE NIGHT, RICHARD JEWELL), Mélanie Thierry (THE ZERO THEOREM, A PERFECT DAY) and Van Veronica Ngo (BRIGHT, STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII – THE LAST JEDI), among many others.
