Stallone: Escape Plan 2 is the most horribly produced film I’ve ever been in

The third film in the ESCAPE PLAN franchise ESCAPE PLAN: THE EXTRACTORS starring Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista, and Devon Sawa will be hitting Digital 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Combo Pack, and DVD tomorrow. And today we have word via Stallone that while he seems to think ESCAPE PLAN 3 is awesome, he has nothing but disdain for ESCAPE PLAN 2.

Stallone writes:

Escape Plan 2 WAS TRULY THE MOST HORRIBLY PRODUCED FILM I have ever had the misfortune to be in

He goes on to say more about how the new film is going to be much better. But you can read all of that for yourself in his Instagram post below. I can only sit here and hope that for all the venom Stallone is spitting ESCAPE PLAN 2's way, it's not directed at that movie's director Steven C. Miller.

ESCAPE PLAN: THE EXTRACTORS tells the following story:

After security expert Ray Breslin (Stallone) is hired to rescue the kidnapped daughter of a Hong Kong tech mogul from a formidable Latvian prison, Breslin’s girlfriend (Jaime King) is also captured. Now he and his team, which includes Dave Bautista and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, must pull off a deadly rescue mission to confront their sadistic foe and save the hostages before time runs out.

Special features include:

Audio commentary with director John Herzfeld, Sylvester Stallone, Devon Sawa, and Daniel Bernhardt

The Making of Escape Plan: The Extractors Featurette, which features never-before-seen cast and crew interviews that explain what it took to make this white-knuckle film.

Directed by John Herzfeld from a screenplay he wrote with Miles Chapman, who also wrote both previous ESCAPE PLAN movies, ESCAPE PLAN: THE EXTRACTORS, starring Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista, and Devon Sawa hits 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD tomorrow. Meanwhile, you can read our recent review of ESCAPE PLAN: THE EXTRACTORS RIGHT HERE.
