The official teaser trailer for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 boldly goes to parts unknown for more interstellar adventures

While some people are willing to leave well enough alone, a science officer’s job is to brave the unknown and investigate life’s mysteries so that we might learn to enrich the world of tomorrow. In the new trailer for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4, the crew of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) visits beautiful and terrifying worlds in pursuit of progress, learning, and life-changing discoveries among the stars.

Paramount+ brought the new trailer for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 to the CCPX Mexico stage on Saturday ahead of the show’s July 23 return. The 10-episode season rolls out weekly on Thursdays through September 24. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds cast members Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Celia Rose Gooding, and Paul Wesley announced the season’s premiere date and introduced the new teaser trailer in front of a massive audience awaiting their Star Trek fix in Mexico City. Anson Mount boldly leads the series as Capt. Christopher Pike, while Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, Martin Quinn, and Carol Kane round out the cast.

What Happens in the New Teaser?

In the teaser trailer, the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) crew encounters some of their most dangerous missions yet, including one with dinosaurs that looks positively awesome! The vastness of space looks gorgeous as the ship navigates from one mission to the next, discovering new wonders with every stop and surprise emergency along the way.

Brave New Worlds Cast Members Tease the New Season

“We’re so proud of this show, and we’re really proud of season four — and season five. We really think it’s our best season yet.” Romijn said about the new season before adding, “There’s dinosaurs!” I share her excitement. Dinosaurs always make everything better.

“We explore a little about Kirk’s past and the demons that are haunting him,” said Wesley, who also joked, “I’m just flattered that they’re premiering it on my birthday. Of course, that’s on purpose.”

Fifth Time’s the Charm

While I’m not our resident Star Trek fan, that’s Kevin Fraser, I am looking forward to this new season. I’ve been looking for an excuse to get into Star Trek, and I’ve heard Strange New Worlds is a decent place to start if you’re too intimidated to dive into Next Generation or one of the older series. I have dabbled in Star Trek here and there, but something always ends up pulling me away for one reason or another. I hope Strange New Worlds sticks with me.
