I don’t want to psych anyone out here (I do too much of that) but what you’re about to see is a stunning piece of fan-art. I’ve been witness to handful of fan-made trailers—most recently for THE DARK KNIGHT—and they’ve all been second-rate and obvious. But this one for the new STAR TREK movie made by aspiring VFX artist Daniel Broadway looks so real that if I watched it not knowing it was fake, you wouldn’t be able to convince me it was. Someone needs to give this guy a job. The real STAR TREK teaser debuts this weekend in front of CLOVERFIELD and I can’t wait to see how it stacks up to this. I can’t imagine it being much better.
