Starfish starring Virginia Gardner lands distribution

First-time filmmaker A.T. White's (lead singer of the UK band Ghostlight) unorthodox horror film STARFISH premiered earlier this year at Fantastic Fest and has been described as "an honest portrayal of loss with music, its effect on the world around us, and its connection to the end of the world."

Whatever that means.

Anyhow, today we have word that Yellow Veil Pictures and The Orchard have signed a multi-territory distribution deal for White’s cosmic horror film. The deal includes all digital rights for US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. A separate theatrical release is planned for early Spring ahead of The Orchard’s digital release.

Director A.T. White:

I’m deeply humbled to be launching my first feature film with The Orchard; a company that is so passionate and supportive to bold filmmakers. ‘Starfish’ is deeply personal to me and I’m honored it has found a home amongst their catalog.

You can check out the quick (artsy) teaser trailer below, along with the minimalistic (artsy) poster as well. After looking through all that (artsy) stiff, make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think! STARFISH is an honest portrayal of loss, starring Virginia Gardner (HALLOWEEN 2018) as

A young woman who struggles with the death of her best friend while trying to assemble a series of clues left on mixtapes in order to stop a monstrous end to the world as we know it. Driven by Lovecraftian imagery, White layers the film with upbeat indie music contrasted by a haunting, orchestral score also composed by the writer/director.

STARFISH is produced by We Are Tessellate, Spellbound Entertainment, and 3ROUNDBURST Productions. Gardner's co-stars include Christina Masterson, Eric Beecroft, Natalie Mitchell, Shannon Hollander, Elias Brett, Tanroh Ishida, Matthew Thomas Brown, Regina Saldivar, Andreas Wigand, and Jenna Marie Johnson. Ahead of The Orchard’s digital release, a theatrical release is planned for early Spring 2019.

What do make of the film thus far? Let us know below!
