Jason Statham vs. a serial killer is all I need to know about BLITZ, a thriller that was just announced in Variety. According to the trade, Statham will portray a tough, uncompromising cop (no shit) assigned the task of tracking down a killer of police officers.
I give the serial killer a couple of victims before Statham busts down his door, roundhouse-kicks him in the trachea, and f*cking uppercuts his ass through a window. Right after that, he’ll say something smart-alecky, crack open a beer, and wait for a hot broad to walk in (the gal below will do) so he can booty-slam her… At least, you know, that’s the movie that’s going on in my head right now…
Paddy Considine will play Statham’s parter. Nathan Parker (screenwriter of the acclaimed MOON) wrote the script; Elliott Lester is directing. The Lionsgate production begins filming this August in London.
