DEADPOOL 2 hasn't been officially greenlit yet, but we do know that a sequel is already in the works, and Ryan Reynolds and director Tim Miller have promised that Cable, aka Nathan Summers, will appear in the follow-up. Last year, Miller said "If we don’t put Cable in Deadpool 2 I think we’ll be run out of town on a rail," and over the weekend (while DEADPOOL was breaking a bunch of box office records), AVATAR's Stephen Lang took to Twitter to campaign for the role.
Let's lay some CABLE. You know I want it. This is pre-training. Thanks for spreading the word. #Deadpool pic.twitter.com/jI1Y1i0oH0

Although Lang has been a fan-favorite choice to play Cable for quite some time now, I think he's just a tad too old for the role, however I certainly wouldn't mind if he does end up being cast as the time-traveling mutant. The actor definitely looks the part, and he's in fantastic shape, especially for a 63-year-old dude. Do you think Lang has a realistic shot at playing Cable in DEADPOOL 2?
