Steve Buscemi dressed as his own 30 Rock meme for Halloween

Another Halloween has come and gone. Now that November is officially here, all those Halloween costumes are back in that box in your basement for another year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t highlight one particularly excellent costume. Steve Buscemi played the recurring character Lenny Wosniak in 30 Rock and in the episode The Tuxedo Begins, we catch a brief glimpse of Wosniak infiltrating a high school by posing as a student and remarking, “How do you do, fellow kids?” And thus, a Steve Buscemi meme was born.

Steve Buscemi may have just won Halloween by dressing up as his 30 Rock meme, complete with skateboard and “music band” T-shirt. A few lucky fans caught a glimpse of the actor on Halloween night and shared the encounter on Twitter.

Steve Buscemi was last seen starring alongside Daniel Radcliffe in the third season of Miracle Workers. Set in the year 1844, Miracle Workers: Oregon Trail follows an idealistic small-town preacher (Radcliffe) who teams up with a wanted outlaw (Buscemi) and a liberated prairie wife (Geraldine Viswanathan) to lead a wagon train west on the Oregon Trail across an American landscape which, much like today, is fraught with both promise and peril.

Buscemi also lends his voice to the Hotel Transylvania series as Wayne the werewolf. The latest installment of the franchise, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, finds Dracula and his monster pals accidentally transformed into humans and having to find a way to change back before the transformation becomes permanent. The film was originally supposed to hit theaters last month, but Amazon scooped up the streaming rights for $100 million and will now release it exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on January 14, 2022.
