guess the question to be asked when reading an article about ex-SNL
“star” Jimmy Fallon and ex-hottie actress Sharon Stone
co-starring in a film together (besides the existence of God
almighty himself) is whether the people backing the film actually
know anything about something called “marketing”, but
maybe they were overpowered by the two stars’ charm and talent. Then
again…maybe not! Potshots aside, according to Variety, the
duo will be co-starring in an independent drama entitled ELIOT
ROCKETT, in which Fallon will play a man devoted to his work but
unable to commit to his girlfriend or anything else in his personal
life. He returns to his hometown after his estranged father suffers
a stroke, while Stone will play his mother, a central figure in his
dysfunctional past. Whether or not any of Fallon’s botched lines
will make the final cut will be up to first-time director Patrick
Sisam. The film starts shooting in February.
