Steven Soderbergh’s latest cinematic experiment, the murder mystery BUBBLE in which he employed a cast comprised entirely of non-professional actors and which he released simultaneously across all platforms, wasn’t quite the success him nor the company sponsoring the experiment, HDNet, were likely expecting. However, the film is part of six similar films that Soderbergh is contracted to make for HDNet, and the second will apparently revolve around high-end call girls who make upwards of two thousand dollars an hour. He plans on once again using non-professional actors and releasing the film across all platforms. This one may have a chance of making a little more bank than the first because, well, hot strippers put asses in theater seats. That’s just the law of the land, baby.
