will be the 4th year that we have our own internal JoBlo.com staff SUMMER
BOX-OFFICE PREDICTION CONTEST, and unlike last year when
everyone had chosen either INDIANA JONES 4 or THE DARK KNIGHT as the
possible #1 movie of the summer, this year there were at least 5
different movies chosen by JoBlo.com associates as the possible
numero uno flick of the summertime including 1 vote for UP,
1 vote for TERMINATOR:
SALVATION, 3 votes for HARRY
POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE, 6 for STAR
TREK and a hefty 14 picks for TRANSFORMERS:
REVENGE OF THE FALLEN as the #1 movie of the summer (domestic
box-office).
It’s always fun to try and guess what ten films will
finish atop the summer box-office heat every year because as much as
we all love movies and write about them every day, you always end up
looking back at the end of the season and saying, "What the
f*ck was I thinking leaving [insert movie title here] out of
my top 10?!?!?" If you feel like it, post your own top 10
predictions below. The way we add up the winners is we give 5 points
for each film you picked correctly in the top 10 (exact spot on the
list) or 3 points if you got the film in the top 10, but not in the
