Super Max gets writer

JoBloJoBlo

It turns out that David Goyer has plucked a complete new-comer from the masses of wannabe-screenwriters to pen the script for his Green Arrow movie SUPER MAX. The movie, as we reported some time ago is an interesting twist on Superhero flicks, centering on the character of the Green Arrow as he is sent to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. The cool thing being the prison is populated by DC villains, many of whom the Arrow actually put away, and so he is forced to team up with a bunch of them to try and break out and clear his name. The concept apparently came about through rookie writer Justin Marks, who had worked with Goyer’s wife at some point before.

I’m not entirely sure I like the idea that the movie will be written by Marks, but only because David Goyer is awesome. Hopefully if Goyer sees wisdom in this, it’s because Marks is about to drop something special on us!
