Looks like THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO is coming closer and closer, as evidenced by the consistent updating of the Rob Zombie film’s MYSPACE PAGE. Seven new pictures have popped up, all indicating that we’re in for a really twisted animated film that most likley won’t be rated G.
Here’s what one of the stars, Paul Giamatti (above, with Zombie and the voice of El Superbeasto, Tom Poppa), has to say about this lunacy: I recorded this thing called ..The Haunted World of El Superbeasto,.. which is basically this really dirty cartoon. It’s just a lot of sex and drugs, and violence.. that is good! [laughs] I think we need a cartoon like that. It’s like those 70s cartoons, like Fritz the Cat and stuff like that. I play this guy, Dr. Satan, who is trying to take over the world and may be gay, or.. something. I don’t know.
That an actor of Giamatti’s caliber is involved excites me about this animated badboy. Zombie has also enlisted wife Sheri Moon Zombie, fan favorite Danny Trejo, Brian Posehn, and Spongebob Squarepants himself, Tom Kenny.
