Back in June we alerted you to a horror film called ONE WAY TRIP, a co-production between Zurich-based HesseGreutert Film and Vienna’s Superfilm that was set to be the first 3D feature film to come out of either country… At the time, the plan was for shooting to take place this month, with a wrap date of, oh, right about now being eyed.
Thanks to the unpredictable nature of film, things changed, and shooting never did get underway. Until, well, now! According to Screen Daily, shooting commenced today on ONE WAY TRIP, which is being directed by Markus Welter and stars Sabrina Reiter, Melanie Winiger, Herbert Leiser, and Martin Loos.
ONE WAY TRIP details what happens after a group of young people fall into the murderous clutches of a madman as they search for hallucinogenic mushrooms in Switzerland’s Jura Mountains.
The film will be released theatrically in Switzerland next year by Ascot Elite Entertainment and in Austria by Thimfilm. Hopefully everyone else will eventually get a look at it too!
