Remember SOUTHLAND TALES? Richard Kelly’s follow-up to his masterpiece DONNIE DARKO? At one time, it was scheduled for a summer 2007 release, but early screenings suggested that it sucked, and was shelved until further edits and re-shoots took place.
Well we can breathe a sigh of release, as it appears the final one sheet has been released (courtesy of Cinematical), with a new release date of November 9th, 2007! Apparently the film’s ‘future’ is in 2008, so they made it just in time before making this a ‘dated’ look into the future.
The poster is ‘alright’ in my book, mostly because it looks like a poster within a poster- like they had two posters they really liked, so they decided to just combine the two because they couldn’t pick one over the other. But The Rock is looking badass, and Sarah Michelle Gellar is looking hot with her porn-star self, so I guess there’s not much to really complain about.
