Tanit Phoenix talks vampires and Corey Feldman for Lost Boys 3

The completely lame-looking LOST BOYS: THE THIRST has one thing going for it, and that thing is the sexy Tanit Phoenix. She almost makes me want to see the goofy nonsense. Almost…

In any event, the Aussie over at Moviehole got a chance to speak with Ms. Phoenix about the Dario Plana flick, and she had some super informative nuggets to dispense. Read on!

“I had only seen the first film with Kiefer Sutherland, and in its time, it was a classic, now I see it has cult status. The current Vampire phenomenon is amazing. What I found very interesting about the Lost Boys script was that it showcases Vampires how they really are, blood sucking and evil, which somewhat dances around the fact that ‘Twilight’ made their Vampires seem beautiful, but they really are not. I wanted to play a bad girl, and I finally got my chance.”

On Corey Feldman she says, “Corey is very sweet. He takes his work seriously. But he is just a big kid! For the most part our characters don’t gel in the script, so to play bad girl on set and then have that change of character and be our fun loving selves off set was interesting.”

No offense to the actress, but the most interesting news Phoenix had was this: “The most physical I got was getting into skimpy outfits”. Yep, almost makes you want to see it…

For a look at what a real LOST BOYS follow-up should look like (or should have looked like), take a peek at the Eric Red’s screenplay for LOST BOYS: THE BEGINNING, if you haven’t already. It kind of sucks that this was passed over and now we’re getting these cheesy excuses for sequels, but that’s how Hollywood rolls. Wack.
