Taurus gets Wolf House

Well here’s something pretty interesting, you guys ever hear of HOUSE OF THE WOLF MAN? Me either but this thing is actually looking pretty cool.

The film, from director Eben McGarr, was filmed in black and white and seems to pay homage to various films from the past. From the shot above you can see we’ll be treated to Dracula, Frankenstein and of course The Wolf Man! Apparently this thing hit San Diego this past year for Comic Con but didn’t make any huge splashes. Luckily for us someone noticed: Taurus Entertainment. Word running rampent through the net today is that Taurus Entertainment has just secured distribution rights for HOUSE OF THE WOLF MAN. Awesome, so we should be seeing it soon.

The film stars Ron Chaney, Dustin Fitzsimons, Jeremie Loncka, Sara Raftery, Cheryl Rodes and Jim Thalman. It follows Dr. Bela Reinhardt, who has invited five people to his castle to see which of them will inherit his estate. He has arranged for a competition of sorts, the victor shall be determined through process of … elimination. Sounds like fun to me! Original, vintage, amusing… seems like HOUSE OF THE WOLF MAN has got a lot going for it. What do you guys think?

In case you’re as intrigued as I am I’ve thrown the trailer for the film up in our videos section, so be sure to check that out below. Unfortunately no release date has been announced yet but we’ll keep our eyes open. For more on HOUSE OF THE WOLF MAN you can check out it’s MySpace or Facebook.
