Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Extended Edition) digital release date set for the U.S. and Canada

Taylor Swift‘s 34th birthday is right around the corner, and to celebrate the momentous occasion, T-Swizzle is bringing the biggest concert film of the year, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, home to fans for a digital release. The upcoming presentation, which includes three songs not shown in theaters, comes courtesy of Taylor Swift and Universal Home Entertainment. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Extended Edition) brings all the friendship bracelet-sharing camaraderie to homes across the United States and Canada on December 13, with the songs “Long Live,” “The Archer,” and “Wildest Dreams” a part of the action. Release dates for additional countries will be announced soon.

Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home,” T-Swift wrote on Instagram. “Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film, including “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer,” and “Long Live” will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13!”

According to Box Office Mojo, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is sitting pretty with $248.9M worldwide after six weeks of release. Swift’s larger-than-life song-and-dance spectacle is a concert film, though it’s also a lifeline for fans shut out from experiencing the Eras Tour live and in person.
