Dread Central go the sweet heads up from a reader of the first ever image from the upcoming horror effort from Kevin Williamson (SCREAM) entitled THE REAPER.
Directed by Jim Gillespie, it’s about a group of teens in Louisiana who have to battle voo-doo for their lives.
Does it sound good? Well, besides the Williamson aspect, this movie sounds like the teen rip-off of THE SKELETON KEY… which isn’t really saying much at this point. But hey, maybe we need a different kind of teeny-boppy horror flick, and who better than the man who revived horror in the mid-90s to pull it off?
As of right now, THE REAPER (previously BACKWATER) is slated to hit theaters September 16th.
