Ten/Four gets Lucky

One show that’s really pimped hard is Showtime’s DEXTER. I’ve seen the complete first season and thought it was impressive, and I plan on catching the other seasons on DVD soon. What makes it so compelling is that the dude’s a serial killer trying to hide his psychopathic self from everyone around him. Cool concept and it works well. Who knew those serial killers could be so damn likable?

The new film set up at Ten/Four pictures has nothing to do with DEXTER other than it shares the shows dark and quasi-comedic take on serials killers. The flick’s called LUCKY, and it goes a little something like this: [the film follows] a serial killer who wins the lottery.

Oh the hijinks and hilarity that’s bound to ensue! But seriously, doesn’t that sound like it could be a ton of fun? Think about trying to keep a low profile cause you like to slaughter people then you win the lottery and you’re all over the news! Maybe he’ll do us all a favor and take out some of tha paparazzi!

LUCKY is set to be directed by Gil Cates Jr., from a script written by SNL staff writer Kent Sublette, with filming scheduled to begin as early as September. A different kind of movie with a different kind of premise. What’s this? Something original? It’s been so long I don’t even know what to think.

Stick around for more on LUCKY as we hear it!
