I feel like I’m collecting trading cards with this series of TERMINATOR: SALVATION posters. Ammon showed you the last one just a few days ago and today I’ve got the newest TERMINATOR: SALVATION poster for you all to feast your eyes on thanks to IGN!
Obviously the new poster can be found above in all it’s glory. I’m definitely digging this one. Maybe not the best of the bunch but it’s defiintely got my mojo cracking. We’ve got one of our heroes, perhaps the newly badass John Conner, clutching the decapitated head of one of the dreaded Terminators. Awesome.
In other minor T4 news we’ve got slight updates on both Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s involvement in the film. First up we got Arnie dropping some info to the guys over at TheArnoldFans.com about his cameo:
But you know as I said to the director when they began that I wish them the best of luck, that I’m happy that they move forward with the franchise, I am very happy with where I am with my profession as the governor and they should try to find a way of doing a story that does not include me at all, not even one single shot in it. I don’t believe in that. To kind of have them go out and promote the movie and say you know Arnold is in the movie and everyone thinks that I’m the Terminator and in fact you only see one second of me in there and so I don’t think that’s the right thing to do. And you know that’s the danger of that, and that’s why I feel reluctant to be part of the movie in the first place. So it doesn’t get promoted that way.
Then the guys over at CHUD recently dropped this on us in regards to Hamilton’s voiceover: A source who has seen the film confirms to us that Hamilton’s voice over is in the film, and that it works very well in context. Her voice over is not long, and it comes at the very beginning of the movie; the source compared it in tone and style to her voice over in T2.
Alright. No more naysaying… it’s for sure, Linda Hamilton’s voice and The Govenator himself (in some capacity) will be in TERMINATOR: SALVATION. Rock on. So go ahead and admire that shot above while we anxiously await more robot action on May 21st.
