I guess we can file this in the “no shit Sherlock” category, but it’s still worth noting: A month before TRANSFORMERS has even come out, Dreamworks is announcing it has not one but two sequels in the pipeline.
This means either we can expect a really great TRANSFORMERS movie, OR the suits are just naturally betting on it being a big hit and are preemptively jumping on the no-less-than-three-movies bandwagon (hopefully both, though).
It will also give them a chance to correct any mistakes made and answer to the legion of fanboy complaints that are sure to descend upon Michael Bay and co. like the plagues of an angry God.
This also means more Megan Fox for years to come…
