The afterlife has been scientifically proven in The Discovery trailer

The Discovery banner

One year after the existence of the afterlife is scientifically verified, millions around the world have ended their own lives in order to “get there”. In the wake of this scientific breakthrough, a man and a woman fall in love while coming to terms with their own tragic pasts and the true nature of the afterlife.

As much as I love the concept for this film, this trailer does a poor job of getting that point across. Granted, we get the idea that there's some sort of suicide epidemic, but maybe a few more words of spoken dialogue could could have prefaced the images shown. Still, the synopsis is interesting enough as is, so I know what I'll be watching come March 31st!

THE DISCOVERY will hit Netflix on March 31, 2017.
