Yes, THE DARK KNIGHT DVD was purchased the day it came out, however I’m going to have to wait till Christmas before I get to actually watch it. In the meantime, I’ll try to harness my excitement and aim it towards the recently announced outstanding news regarding the most-likely-inevitable third entry in director, Christopher Nolan’s reinvigorated series. I’ll give you a quick hint: meow.
You should already know that I’m referring to one of the next highly likely villains to terrorize Gotham. Yeah, it’s Catwoman and sure, some of you may have already had more than an inkling that it’d be her. However, we now have some big-time industry insight into who is truly the number one choice to play that saucy feline fatalle. And that choice is none other than… Rachel Weisz!
Hell yes! An article over at Yahoo movies has just released the word from a “very reliable source” that Weisz is indeed the number one candidate. All I’ve got to say is, “Thank you very much!” Rachel is just an ideal choice on every level! She’s gorgeous, she’s incredibly talented, and she just seems to have the perfect framework to match Selena Kyle. And although we still don’t have confirmation from Warner Bros or anyone else, this seems to be one rumor that should turn out to be true. At least I hope! Regarding an official announcement, I doubt we’ll be hearing one any time soon. However, when Heath Ledger’s name is called out as the winner of the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, I’m not sure who will go up to accept in his honor, but if it’s Christopher Nolan then I think that would be a nice time to make the announcement (after praising Mr. Ledger, of course).
