The Bloody Man trailer: Elm Street stars Lisa Wilcox and Tuesday Knight reunite in new horror film

Director Daniel Benedict’s supernatural horror film The Bloody Man has been described as “a cocktail of A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Goonies, and Stranger Things” – and if that isn’t enough to sell you on the movie, maybe you’ll be more interested to hear that the cast includes A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master stars Lisa Wilcox and Tuesday Knight.

Wild Eye Releasing has acquired distribution rights to The Bloody Man and are planning to give the film a digital release on July 12th. A release on physical formats will follow. In anticipation of the July digital release, a trailer for The Bloody Man has been unveiled and can be seen in the embed above.

Scripted by Daniel Benedict and Casi Benedict, the film tells the story of

a young boy who, after the death of his mother, becomes obsessed with a comic book she gave him that ultimately summons the ancient monster found in its pages.

Wilcox and Knight are joined in the cast by Mercedez Varble (Bunni), Dan Eardley (The Trials of Darksmoke), Jason Crowe (Space Babes from Outer Space), Roni Jonah (Easter Casket), and KateLynn E. Newberry (Widow’s Point).

The Bloody Man is a Red Serial Films production. Casi Benedict produced the film, and Varble is a co-producer alongside Rhiannon Crothers, Garrett M. Johnson, and Jason L. Watson. Cyrus Adkisson and Dave Adkisson were associate producers.
