The Boys actor Jack Quaid to star in Spyglass’ Scream relaunch

Everything is coming up Milhouse for THE BOYS actor Jack Quaid, who it was revealed on Tuesday will be joining the cast of Paramount and Spyglass' new SCREAM film. He joins castmembers David Arquette and Courteney Cox who'll be returning to the franchise as Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers, respectively, with newcomer Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega also set to star. Filming on the latest Scream installment is expected to begin this fall in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Quaid is having quite the week, ladies and gentlemen. In addition to joining the cast of Scream, he'll also be making his return to Amazon this Friday when the streamer launches its sophomore season of THE BOYS. Quaid stars in the satirical superhero series as Hughie Campbell, a mild-mannered guy who falls into line with Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), a rough-and-tumble killer of corrupt superheroes. The new season of THE BOYS looks even crazier than the first, so plan your weekend binging schedule accordingly and hold onto your butts.

SCREAM 5 is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence (READY OR NOT) from a script penned by James Vanderbilt (AMAZING SPIDER-MAN) and Guy Busick (READY OR NOT, CASTLE ROCK). Plot details for the film remain scarce at this time, though with production set for the coming season I'd imagine that we'll be hearing more in good time.
