Actor Michael Trucco has a whole lot of credits to his name, but he's probably best known for playing Samuel Anders on the 2005 – '09 reboot of Battlestar Galactica. His biggest horror credit to date was a role in WISHMASTER 4: THE PROPHECY FULFILLED more than ten years ago, but he's about to venture back into horror territory, having signed on to co-star in director Stacy Title's THE BYE BYE MAN, which is currently filming in Cleveland, Ohio.
Written by Title's husband (and Survivor contestant) Jonathan Penner, THE BYE BYE MAN is based on the short story The Bridge to Body Island by Robert Damon Schneck and
recounts a series of terrifying events experienced by three Wisconsin college students.
Those college students are being played by Douglas Smith, Cressida Bonas, and Lucien Laviscount. The titular supernatural killer is being brought to life by frequent creature performer Doug Jones.
Trucco will be playing a student's brother "whose mind has been invaded by the unstoppable Bye Bye Man".
So it sounds like Trucco is being manipulated by the monster in this movie, and in WISHMASTER 4 his character's identity was stolen by the monster. I'm just saying, if you ever find yourself in a horror movie with Michael Trucco, watch your back around him.
