The Cell 2???

I don’t like Jennifer Lopez. Her movies, her music, her clothing line, her fragrance line, her tabloid life… everything about her make me wanna stab my eyes out with rusty forks. Everything, that is, except 2000’s THE CELL. That movie is awesome – it’s visually stunning and 100% f*cked up on multiple levels. Pretty much, it’s the only good movie Lopez has ever done – maybe she should be doing more edgier stuff?

Anyway, Video Business dropped a recent line about a shocking sequel aimed to hit DVD next year… THE CELL 2! Wait, what??? They’re making a CELL 2? Where the f*ck have I been? Will it star Lopez? Will Vince Vaughn be back as well? Unfortunately, no and no (it IS a STD sequel afterall).

The new CELL stars Frank Whaley and Tessie Santiago, but storyline and everything else abou it is being kept under wraps. I’m a big Whaley fan, especially after his turn in VACANCY, I can only imagine what he’s gonna pull off in this one. I’ve never heard of this Santiago chick, but hey – she’s hot, and she can’t be any worse than Lopez, right?
