Last week we learned Jeffrey Dean Morgan had signed on to headline Ole Bornedal’s Ghost House chiller DIBBUK BOX, produced by Sam Raimi. Could he have just found his love interest?
According Deadline, “The Closer” star Kyra Sedgwick (pictured) has just been added to the cast, which also includes Natasha Calis and Madison Davenport. Sedgwick will play a mom whose youngest child becomes strangely attached to an antique wooden box purchased at a yard sale.
Here’s an expanded synopsis:
The film will follow Clyde Breneck (Morgan) and his 10-year-old daughter, Em, who purchases an antique box at a yard sale. With the box, Em accidentally releases an ancient spirit that has one goal: to devour her. Clyde must team work with his ex-wife (Sedgwick) to put an end to the curse.
DIBBUK BOX comes to the big-screen October 28th.
