One film I really wanted to check out this past February but totally missed was THE CRAZIES, as not only did it have a slick look about it, but it looked… crazy! Lots of bloody violence, and a remake that scores an R rating has to count for something, right?
I’m in luck, however, as THE CRAZIES is coming home to DVD and Blu-ray June 29, 2010, from Anchor Bay Home Entertainment. Anchor Bay, being as cool as they are, also hooked us up with a nice little package of special features that should get just about any fan of this movie excited. Check ’em out:
Not a bad set of features, and for a relatively low budget horror flick, it’s nice to see it’s not getting the barebones treatment. And what’s even cooler about this release may be the cover art, which went with one of the more striking images from the marketing of the film: the blood-drenched pitchfork being dragged across the floor. Nice!
