The UK trailer for THE WOMAN IN BLACK starring Daniel Radcliffe has just debuted online. The film comes from Hammer Films, and the US will get it on February 3, 2012. UK audiences will get to tap it a week later on February 10.
The new trailer is different from the one we saw earlier and has a lot of new footage. It still feels very creepy, a nice gothic horror tale. I can’t wait, and I am looking forward to seeing Daniel Radcliffe in his first piece of post Potter action.
THE WOMAN IN BLACK stars Daniel Radcliffe as Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who travels to a remote village to organize a recently deceased client’s papers. As Kipps works alone in the client’s isolated house, he begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.
The film was directed by James Watkins, based on the novel by Susan Hill. Radcliffe will star alongside Shaun Dooley, Cathy Sara, Mary Stockley, Roger Allam, Liz White, Lucy May Barker, Tim McMullan, Alisa Khazanova, Daniel Cerqueira, David Burke and Victor McGuire.
