The death toll rises in the final trailer for Ice Age: Collision Course

Scrat's epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into space where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest to save existence! History says that their quest didn't turn out so well, but I'm thinking we might see things turn out a littler different in ICE AGE: COLLISION COURSE!

There's no way that they would go this route, but how great would it be if Scrat DID wipe out nearly every living thing on the planet, and our heroes just lived out the rest of their days in the caves? In any event, I'm sure Scrat will also be responsible for saving the species while he's in that UFO, but we'll know for sure in 2 months. And by "we" I mean "you." I'm busy that day.

ICE AGE: COLLISION COURSE hits theaters on July 22, 2016.
