The Director’s Guild nominations recognize 10 Cloverfield Lane among others

All sorts of nominations have been announced lately and as we eagerly await the Academy Award nominations, these are fun to check out in the meantime. Today we have a look at some Director's Guild noms that include a few familiar names, as well as some names we haven't seen on a list so far. For what it's worth, I love that Dan Trachtenberg is getting some recognition with 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE. It's definitely in my top ten of last year and a really solid directorial debut. I suppose that DEADPOOL movie was okay too . . . In any case, it looks like all the usual suspects are here and count me surprised if LA LA LAND doesn't win the former category.
