In her first relatively genuine attempt to be taken seriously as an actress, Jessica Alba stars in the horror thriller THE EYE as a blind concert violinist who undergoes a bilateral corneal transplant and with her newfound sight also acquires the ability to see beyond the natural world and into the world of freaky deaky spooky shit aka the supernatural. The teaser trailer recently posted on Yahoo movies is merely a simple teaser – music over a montage of random, rapidly flashing scenes – but it does, surprisingly enough, inspire some confidence that this film isn’t just another bland, pointless horror flick. Or maybe I’m just too drawn in by Alba’s impossibly hot ass. Go ahead and decide for yourself over HERE. The film opens February 11th.
