The Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts will hit theaters November 2016

Warner Bros is not wasting any time getting their new trilogy of movies inspired by the Harry Potter books FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM up and running. The announced films, which are being scripted by author JK Rowling herself, are on track and the first movie will hit theaters on November 18, 2016.

There is not much about the plot that we know aside from the fact that it will take place in New York City and focus on magizoologist Newt Scamander.
