The Hills Have Begun

It’s a shame that HIGH TENSION bombed so bad here in the U.S.- goes to show dubbing- even dubbing a horror film- is a bad idea. We could have told them that, and now they’re learning their lesson.


Director Alexandre Aja has a second chance to win America over with the remake of Wes Craven’s THE HILLS HAVE EYES- which started filming just over a week ago in Morocco.


Starring Aaron Stanford, Ted Levine, Kathleen Quinlan, Vinessa Shaw (that’s her on the right) and Robert Joy, with produce Craven on board as well, it’s hard not to get at least a tad bit excited.



Afterall, it is a frickin’ remake.


A family road trip goes terrifyingly awry when the travelers become stranded in a government atomic zone. Miles from nowhere, the Carters soon realize the seemingly uninhabited wasteland is actually the breeding ground of a blood-thirsty mutant family…and they are the prey.


And if you don’t know, now you know. No word yet when it’s set to release, but my money’s on February. I don’t know why, just a feeling I have. Stay tuned as more news erupt from the EYES!
