It has been very hard for me to hide my utter disdain for the upcoming
remake of
THE HITCHER. Actually, I haven’t been
hiding it all! Its one of my fav films of all time and unless they do their
own thing with the initial premise (as opposed to just copying the original
all the way through) or actually manage to top the Eric Red
scripted/Robert Harmon directed Cult Classic (I highly doubt that
will happen) I fail to the see the point of this update other than che and
ching. Its one remake too many to me! ENOUGH!

(Good luck, it took me all kinds of time to load it up). Ouuuu its a couple facing
John Ryder instead of one dude (Wouldn’t that lessen the stakes of the
cat n mouse game? I like mano et mano better!) I hope the variations go
beyond that! THE POSEUR gets a shot at proving me wrong when it hits the
screens on January 19 2007. It stars Sean Bean and that
Sophia Bush (great last name) chick!
