Do you remember a few months back, when The Joker had us all excited about his website IBelieveinHarveyDentToo.com? Where he revealed to us the first glimpse of what he was going to look like. And after giving us the quick glimpse, which can be found above, he had disappeared as quickly as he’d come.
After that, the website gave us all a clue. Regardless of saying ‘Page not found,’ if you hightlighted the entire page, you’d find an ocean of ‘Ha’s. And if you looked close enough, you’d see the code ‘See YOu In DECeMbER.’ Well it seems like we’ve got news on what The Joker meant.
Omelete is reporting that there will be a 7-minute prologue trailer debuting with copies of I AM LEGEND in IMAX. And I AM LEGEND’s release date? December 14, 2007.
The 7-minute prologue will apparently be highlighting Heath Ledger’s The Joker. This is some badass news. First we get the glimpse of Heath as the sideshow maniac. Then we get a nice little teaser. Now the teaser had nothing but dialogue and an exploding logo, and it was still awesome. “Starting tonight, people will die! I’m a man of my word. HAHAHA!” Oh yeah, I got really excited when I heard that. Like ‘Jessica-Alba’ excited. Now Warner Bros. is tiding us over with a 7 minute prologue! And the flick doesn’t even come out until July 18, 2008.
Anyway, keep in mind this has not been officially announced, but looks like it’s legit. And remember it’s apparently only going to be shown on the IMAX copies of I AM LEGEND, which hits theaters December 14, 2007.
